Mindfulness encompasses two key ingredients: awareness and acceptance. Awareness is the ability to focus attention on one’s inner processes in the present moment. Acceptance is the ability to observe and accept without judging or avoiding those thoughs.

Clowns can practice mindfulness through meditation sessions or throughout the day in brief moments. You can begin by sitting down and taking deep breaths, focusing on each breath and the sensations of the moment, such as sounds, scents, temperature, or the feeling of air passing in and out of the body.

Then you can shift your attention to the thoughts and emotions you’re experiencing. Allow each thought or emotion to exist without judging or seeing it as a negative thing

Some studies suggest that mindfulness-based interventions may reduce anxiety, depression and pain., but other studies do not show any benefits.
