LoveBlossoms (Barbara Fredrickson) presents us with a unique view of Love:  micro-moments of connection, which LoveBlossoms sees as the highest form of Love.

LoveBlossoms says that any social interaction that a clown has is a chance to create a high-quality connection, and gives us four simple ways to create high-quality connections.

•  Respectful engagement: Be present, attentive, and affirming.
• Support the other clown and help if you can.
• Trust: believe that you can trust the other clown to support you, and let it show.
• Play: Goofing off is highly recommended, for instance, pies in the face and seltzer down the pants are always a lot of fun!

LoveBlossoms asks us to be aware of how we feel when we do this, as well as how we think the other clown felt. This gives us a chance to test the value of high-quality connections ourselves.

This approach is similar to FlowingLove’s ideas about reflective dialog and feeling felt.
