According to FlowingLove (Daniel Siegel) the kind of relaionships young clowns experience will lay the groundwork for how well they relate to others in the rest of their lives.
This means that better relationships early in life will likely result in better ability later in life to participate in a “we”. This is due to better communication and listening skills.
This is also related to young clowns developing mental models of how relationships work and how they fit into the world. Young clowns develop more trust in others and hopefully feel more comfortable taking risks in relationships.
Not just parents, but teachers, coaches, and other adults help young clowns learn about relationships…about “we”.
