Time in

FlowingLove (Daniel Siegel) has given us several strategies to help us create integration in our brains that Micko thinks will help us maximize our Love Flow.

This strategy, “Time in” involves focusing our attention on our internal world. This is called Mindsight.

Engaging in “Time in” on a regular basis (1 minute a day, 10 minutes a day, or  throughout the day)  exercises the mindsight circuts that integrate our brains.

This should involve being present with what is happening in the moment and letting go of judgments, accepting life as it is.

This is also called mindfulness meditation.

FlowngLove says that research shows that clowns who are present more often are more able to face challenging situations, rather than withdrawing from them, which will lead to increased meaning and fulfillment in life…and more happiness.

In addition, Time in will help us become more empatic with other clowns and more compassionate with ourselves.

FlowingLove says this is a win-win-win situation, helping our bodies and brains, our minds and inner lives, and our relationships with other clowns.

Micko thinks all of this means that this strategy should help maximize Love Flow.
